Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Sitezen when you use Sitezen — our website-building and business-management platform. They are written to be read. By creating an account you accept them.

The service

Sitezen lets you create a website for your business, host it on a free subdomain or your own domain, and manage your business — leads, appointments, content and more — from one panel. Features depend on your plan, and the pricing page is the authoritative list of what each plan includes.

Your account

• You must give accurate details and keep your login credentials safe.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and your team’s sub-accounts.
• One person or business per account; you must be able to enter a contract.

Your content and your customers

Everything you publish — text, images, offers, prices — remains yours, and you are responsible for it: for having the rights to it, for its accuracy, and for complying with the laws that apply to your business (including consumer-protection, advertising and sector rules such as medical or financial regulations).

When your customers pay you through your website, those payments run through your own payment gateway account (for example your Razorpay, Stripe or PayPal account). We never hold, route or take a cut of your customers’ money; refunds and disputes on those payments are between you, your customer and your gateway.

Acceptable use

You may not use Sitezen to:

• host anything illegal, deceptive, or infringing on others’ rights;
• send spam or run phishing, malware or scam pages;
• sell prohibited or heavily regulated goods without the licences to do so;
• attempt to break, probe or overload the platform or other customers’ isolation.

We can suspend or remove content or accounts that break these rules — with notice where practical, immediately where the harm is active.

Billing

• Subscriptions are billed in advance (monthly or yearly) in ₹ via Razorpay for India, or in $ via Stripe elsewhere, on our partners’ hosted checkout pages.
• Plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard; service continues to the end of the paid period.
• If a renewal payment fails, your service enters a 7-day grace period, then becomes read-only. We never delete your data for non-payment.
• Refunds are governed by our Refunds & Cancellations policy.
• Prices can change; existing subscriptions get at least 30 days’ email notice.

Leaving

You can export your data and cancel at any time. After cancellation your site address is reserved for 90 days in case you return; after that it may be released. You can ask for permanent deletion sooner.

Our commitments and limits

We work to keep the platform fast, secure and available, with daily backups — but no software is perfect, and the service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses (lost profits, lost data caused by your own actions, or the acts of your customers).

General

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and courts at the registered place of business of Sitezen have jurisdiction. If we make material changes to these terms we will notify you by email before they apply. Questions: [email protected].
